Privacy Policy

1) Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Learn Words with Flashcards (“the App”) handles information.

The App is free and contains no ads.
We do not sell your personal information.

2) Data the App collects

2.1 Data you enter

The App allows you to manually enter learning content, including:

• words and translations
• blocks/groups, priorities, and learning settings
• spelling practice content
• learning progress and exam results

This content is created by you for learning purposes.

2.2 Data collected automatically

The App does not collect personal or device data automatically.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, microphone data, advertising identifiers, or analytics identifiers.

We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs (for example Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics) at this time.

3) How your data is used

Your data is used only to provide the App’s core functionality, such as:

• showing flashcards using a selected learning algorithm
• training in both directions (foreign → native and native → foreign)
• spelling practice
• progress tracking and charts per block
• exams to verify long-term retention

4) Data storage and where it is processed

Your learning data is stored locally on your device.
The App does not upload your learning content to any server.

5) Data sharing

We do not share your learning data or personal data with third parties.

We may disclose information only if required by law (for example, to comply with a legal request).

6) Retention and deletion

Because the data is stored on your device:

• You can delete your learning content inside the App (if the App provides delete/reset options), and/or
• You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App (this removes locally stored data).

7) Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data stored within the App. However, no method of storage is 100% secure.

8) Children’s privacy

The App is intended for language learning and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information was provided to the App, please contact us and we will help remove it.

9) Planned features (not currently available)

In the future, we may add optional features such as:

• user accounts (e.g., email-based login)
• cloud backup and synchronization across devices

If these features are added, we will:

• update this Privacy Policy before enabling them,
• describe what data is collected, how it is used, and who it is shared with,
• provide clear user controls (including deletion options where applicable).

10) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” will be updated, and the latest version will be available at the Privacy Policy URL in the store listing.
